Funding
Motorsport Development UK is a unique collaboration between central and regional government, the sport and the industry that it supports. It is aimed at maintaining and growing the UK's dominant position at the forefront of this truly global sector. It's current Business Plan is jointly funded by the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR) and four Regional Development Agencies, namely the East Midlands Development Agency, Advantage West Midlands, East of England Development Agency and the South East of England Development Agency. These four regions effectively embrace ‘Motorsport Valley', the area where the majority of the UK motorsport sector is concentrated.
